Early this morning
the sun shone out bright-
ly, but before long it
was obscured by clouds, --
shortly after noon
it commenced rain-
ing & has rained all
afternoon & continues
unabated, (9 P.M.)
Although to-day is
St. Valentine's day, I
have rec'd "niver a
letter."
Feel quite well to-day.
