The rain fell in torrents
all night, but ceased
at day break.
It is cloudy & cool.
Walked over to Camp to-
day, & remained a short
time; rode back on our
kind Chaplain's horse.
Not so well to-day as
yesterday.
Seven months in the
service to-day.
